Nice instrumental, quite relaxing, but there was nothing that would make me interested in re-playing it.
6/10 from me.
A japanese song, quite famous btw. The best version IMO done by Natsukawa Rimi. Original was done by the band called The Boom. In my opinion the best anti-war song that there is.

When thinking Asiatic, my thoughts goes straight towards anime, even though I haven't watched much myself.

I personally don't give a shiet about lyrics if the music or vocals are good. If I'd want to experience some good text I'd read some poetry. Music is music.
For example, this song you've posted :
Charice - "Pyramid" featuring Iyaz
has too much words. I despise rap & r&b (wich ironically Rythm And Blues was once called R&B and this shiet was good) because there is too much talking.
Vocals in this song are bland and cliched. They're clean, but they have no power. The lyrics are the base of this song and the vocals. I don't rate lyrics. They could be singing about taking a dump for all I care, and if they'd do that I'd rate it higher because it'll be a sing of non-stereotypical thinking. The melody and instrumental track are only an addition, a simple rythm.
As I wrote before I don't rate songs that don't annoy me lower than 5, so
5/10 from me.
Ok., some synthpop by band called Iris. Their main composer is Andrew Sega known in ModTrack Scene as Necros. For me he's a legend. The stuff he writes in Iris is somewhat different due to the fact that :
a) it's a pop
b) it has a vocalist
Nevertheless the band grew on me. Soothing and sometimes melancholic :

After that fact, you've put on a mask, hired a gay dressed sidekick and currently you're fighting crime with your raspy, drowned in vodka, powered up by smokes, voice.
But seriously, this band is legendary. Revolutionaries of funk and one of their main fathers. James Brown hated them because they were better than him - but then again - James Brown was a dick.
On the bad side I have to say that they somehow inspired modern day rappers (or should I say - early 80's rappers). But it's like with the Bible - some just interpret it in a wrong way.
