Erm, I don't know if this has been asked before, but are you a 'furry'? I only ask as you seem to be very deft in creating seemingly alluring animal-based creatures. Awesome art, it just raises some questions...

I have no idea if I'm a "furry" or not as there seem to be varying opinions as to what constitutes as one.
Personally, I just think of myself as a cartoonist and will leave the labelling to the internet.

No labelling intended, just the saucy creatures and the self-characterisation(?) as a hamster makes me wonder...

(of course, the reference to "saucy creatures" may implicate me as a 'furry', but just for the record, I'm not.   )

Just wanted to ask if you were involved with Dinosaur Planet when you were at Rare, and if so, are you comfortable sharing anything about your experience working on it?

(Was browsing some Star Fox art and came across Dinosaur Planet concept sketches, and it's probably just me, but I could swear I detected a bit of your influence in some of the designs.)

No, Dino Planet was before my tenure at Rare. It's more likely that the images you saw had an influence on MY work rather than the other way 'round. I saw some concept art for the original incarnation of the game in a magazine some time before it became StarFox and I tried to emulate the style.

Have you ever considered being the illustrator for someone else's comic? A kind of writer/artist team-up thing?

I have some questions, Mr. JJ.

1: How old, physically, are the squirrel girls?
And please correct me if I'm wrong on this. Mentally, I believe that Scarlet and her sisters are about teenie bopper age, i.e. about 14 or so. This, I guess, based on the 4 or so times, I've read SA from the very first comic strip and to the newest.

2: How old is Art, Pip and Kat?

3: Do You accept fan art of Your SA characters? And if so, do You want it by ordinary mail, or by email?

4: Do You ever draw to relax? And do You ever use pencils and ordinary A4 printer paper when You draw?

5: Do Art and Pip play tabletop wargames? I.e. Warhammer 40.000, Full Thrust or similar.
