(Just then, As the Laser came down, the Conducting rails on the Dreadnought redirected and absorbed the blast, Charging the Particle Rail Gun to 92%. The Dreadnought, searching through the files made by the Scout Drone, Located the Enemy's HQ, Aimed and Fired all of its energy directly at the base. Cutting through all obstacles in its path.)

[OOC: Really not sure what's happening in your base but hey, laser heading my way. Also how the hell does a laser beam go down conducting rails ]

All was tranquil in the base, birds humming in the late afternoon sun, bats getting ready for their midnight flight, military helicopters doing routine patrols. Yes all was well. That was. Until a laser came out of the sky! Tearing through the clouds the sky turned read, the laser interfered with the military jets and helicopters patrolling the airspace. Then, it hit. It it the launch pad of the Recon drone, the tanks of hydrogen fuel next to the pad exploded, other Recon drones were hit, melted, their circuitry destroyed. And all while Major K. Savauge watched from the command bunker thinking: "What le fuck?!"

Hanz thought that his “gift would come in handy. Little did he know that it was destroyed. Fortunately for nikolai, the blast took out some eney troops near the base. Hanz traveled farther into what he decided would be his base of operations. He found lots of technological equipment but nothing he could use.
Then he came upon a much larger room. This room had a door about ten meters thick made of a mixture of tungsten and diamond fibers.
“On” Hanz said. The room lit up to reveal a large central control in the middle of the floor.
: Welcome To Defence And Offence Command Center. What Can I Do For You Today?:
“I believe this is when an Earthling starts to giggle with joy.” Hanz walked over to the controls.

"Major Frunze"
"Yes, General"
"What is it I'm seeing?"
*gulp* "Si...Sir, this is the damage caused by the laser"
"And Frunze, my friend, why is there damage here from a laser?"
"Because... I ordered a laser strike sir."
"And you ignored my orders? The laser cannon on that drone is very valuable, luckily for us it was not destroyed, now go, we need intelligence of our situation here, this is wholly unexpected. We were told these people were no match for us, but they just destroyed a fuel dump and most of our drones. Now go, assemble a team, gather drones and put cameras on some of the fighters, I need more intelligence on our situation, and once we get it, we need to expand." General Micasr sat looking out of his bunker, again he was secretive, neither Major Frunze, nor Major Savauge had ever seen his face or his entire body for that fact. He sat, in his signature oak chair.
"How long before the main command centre is finished?"
"about... 3 hours sir."
"good, now do as you are commanded."
"yes sir"

Frunze exited the main bunker and climbed on an APC which took him to the nearest barracks. '2 hours to assemble a team of scouts, and recon aircraft. This will be a difficult mission'

'Sir! High energy discharges at the inventors hq! Orders?'

'Find out the targets. The inventor was one. But who'd he fire upon...' ordered Cpt Jackson.

'Got it sir'

[The dig site was deep. Nikolai's drill worked well. Firenze and the Talon unit stood at the rim, prepped weapons and leapt down cloaked upon rappel lines. It was easy tracking this guy. The jump signatures were like beacons. The team landed on the floor silently, arc-guns up and ready. They snuck around the drill, and headed on]

"Ugh, some grim spectre just showing up and telling me what to do."
The meeting on the island base was productive, establishing the "Toa" as potential allies. He returned to the docks.

"BOSS! BOSS!!!"
"What is it, Cole? Calm down!"

"You're not goin' ta believe this, but we're bein' attacked!"
"WHAT! WHO!"
"Dunno! But they've got bombers! It's pure pandimonium back at base, Adams is doin' his best, but we need to get back as soon as we can!"
"Well, what the hell are we doing here, then! You men, bring these skiffs back to the base on your own! Cole, you come with me."

Triskelli prepared to warp back to base. The survival of his men was worth some piddling quake. The man and his robot dissappeared.

They returned to reality on the helm of the Sabre II It had been in the air when the bombers approached, but wasn't doing the best job of holding them off. That's what the Tribufighters were for. Bizzare flying craft, they looked like lost propellers flying around, each of their three "wings" whizzing around the fuselage. Machinegun fire laced the skies as flak explosions attempted to ward off any second passes.

Nikolai's improvements were impressive; the shields had held and kept the Sabre from falling prey to the shortcomings of it's seabound sisters. "Adams!" The Lieutenant turned around.

"Oh thank Cogs you're here. These are no-one we have encountered before. We had prepared the Sabre for battle as you had asked when a dozen black bombers passed two clicks east of the base, flying low. We were able to spot them quickly, scramble the fighters and took out one with the missiles the inventor provided. Your advice to up the air support has done wonders, the mass of flak we were able to put up has discouraged them from bombing low and the Hammer is untouched, but we've lost men and several of the artillery pieces."

"I see. Keep gunning but have any unengaged troops go to dismantle the jungle road. If any of those pilots are captured I want them brought to me for questioning. I want to know who this coward is, and where he's hiding."

"Yessir."

Triskelli stared at the carnage before him. A Tribufighter spiraled off into the jungle. He winced at the explosion. "I haven't survived all these years just by sitting around."

(OOC, wait a minute, I'm revising my post to remove paratroopers. This was just a bombing run.)

(Update, fixed it. I'd like to forward a proposition. I know I have an army and everyone else does, but should it me MANDATORY? I enjoy the tactics and evil overlord feeling that armies bring, but I want to kick asses on a more personal level too. Oh, and shame on the General for thinking he could wipe us all out with a single pass! You'll have to be more committed than that to take down an interdimensional warlord! =])

"Dreadnought, I am sending you on an Martyrdom mission. Level the enemy at all cost. We need to bring them down to size, for they have planned ahead for this attack, and we are still in the first stages of unit production."

(Nikolai removed a Fusion Reactor from Click, that enabled Click to Transform, and used it to power the Rail Gun on the Dreadnought to 100% and the Nuke Last Resort to 200%.)

"Use the Rail Gun wisely, and don't use it all at once."

"NOW, Attack co-ordinance N-30 and E-90!"

"I am in need of your assistance, I am going to bomb the enemy. I have Dreadnought with a Nuke blast Charged to 200% Heading in that direction. I need you to help cover it as it makes its way to Ground ZERO. Can I count on you?

Kityraz base was just hidden when it got bombed. "RUNASUNM!!! GET ALL THE MATORAN UNDER A FIRE SHIELD! I`LL HELP YOU A.S.A.P. WITH HOLDING OFF THE BOMBS! DONT CARE ABOUT THE BASE!! JUST THE MATORAN AND TURAGA!!" Kityraz shouted. Meanwhile the bombs dropped down. Constana flew up and started fireing shadowbolts to the enemy ships. Most were fired to the windows to block light from coming in and thus preventing being seen. Meanwhile Kityraz joined Runasunm and made the shield stronger with his light powers. The matoran and turaga were gathered in the factorys. All the barracks and walls were destroyed by the bombs. The EMPs only effected the machinery making matoran. The matoran that were outside the shield got destroyed. Constana managed to blind all the bombers. Then she focused all her powers and focused them into redirecting the bombers back to theyre base. On 1 of them she left a neat little trick she learned from an old friend. "When that ship lands... theyre whole base will be covered in darkness. Thank you Pohatu for learning my the secrets of timed elemental explosions." Constana thought.

The base was a fury of activity, new intel of the actual size and strength of the enemy had been received and had alarmed the high command. No, this was not going to be like any of the other campaigns fought, even that little skirmish with the mole people was easy enough. Nothing the ministry of Technology couldn't build to secure victory. But this was different. The main base was preparing for expansion. A few divisions had been sent outside the caldera and a single new elite division, specialist defence forces, had arrived. Already the bombing runs had given some success, but not the success intended, of the targets hit, only 3 had been satisfactory.

Frunze was sitting inside the barracks, a number of units were assembled. He explained to them the plan: "Stealth transport and stealth fighter escort" He didn't go into much detail about the plan, each unit commander knew what had to be done.

In another part of the base:
"Major Savauge, Has the second airstrip been completed yet?"
"No Sir, but what we do have is a forward base, about 3 kilometres outside the caldera, nothing fancy. A recon truck, some troops and a fighter unit. Also a dirt runway"
"Good, How many bombers are left?"
"Of the dozens we sent... only 24 have returned"
"Shameful... I need them repaired and rearmed and sent out to a new location... this will coincide with Major Frunze's attack. Get them to repair and rearm at your new forward... camp..."
"It will be done sir"
"Also, Savauge, we are dealing with powerful enemy's here, you'd do best to remember that"

And with that an attack was set, a new anomaly had been detected, and the first major strike of this war would be it.

[Firenze and his team snuck further in, spotting a figure at a control panel. Firenze and his team moved up, completely unnoticed until one of the squad uncloaked and put his rifle into the mans back, holding him around the throat. He gasped in shock as Firenze materialised infront of him]

'Name,' stated Firenze.

'Hanz'

'What the hell are you doing here? What are you doing and you will stop right now. DO you even know the meaning of this place?'

[Jackson and his team ran up the airstrip under the cover of night. It was surprisingly quiet down this end. The team ran up, the highly advanced systems in their armour detecting movement and notifying the team so they could avoid it. Jackson smiled. It felt good to be back in the special ops field.]

'Cap. Movement ahead. a flight of stealth aircraft prepping for take off. Should we track 'em?' asked a team member.

'DO it. We should at least know if they are coming for us.'

[With a hiss, tracers darts spat out at the aircraft, broadcasting a specific signal that only the Alpha Team force could detect. The team moved on, sneaking past the wreckage of the recon drones hit by the laser.]

'These are old. We had these ten years ago. I wonder who this is...' wondered Sirius.

[Suddenly a spot light came down, illuminating the squad.]

'STOP. DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND FOLLOW US OR WE WILL USE LETHAL FORCE!'

'Yeah, you and what army?' goaded Jackson.

[A force of heavily armed IFVs rolled up, weapons aimed.]

'Oh... That army.'

"I suggest you look at your chests."
The strangers did so. On each person's heart was a red dot.
"What the hell?" said Firenze.
"It would seem that I know this place pretty well. The security in this place is incredible. I should know, my people built it."
"I doubt whatever fire power this base has can do much to us."
"I wouldn't be too sure." Some of the men seemed unnerved.
"I don't plan on harming you, but if you insist on violence you should know that your intentions will judge the outcome. Think before you act." Hanz said. He remained as emotionless as ever.

"Nikolai knows where the Bomber is?"

Triskelli was back in his study. A wayward bomb had shattered the windows. He was currently speaking to his communications station down below. "Apparently, sir. He is asking for support for something he calls a Dreadnought which is nuclear armed and is headed for the source of the bombers."
"Does he have the coordinates?"
"Umm, he said N -30 and E -90."

Triskelli leaned back in his chair and smiled. "Tell Nikolai he will get his support. Send a large detachment of soldiers, 80 should be enough. Send 30 walkers and 10 of the new tanks. They worked wonderfully against Nikolai, so let's see how well they work against this new threat. Tell Cole to suit up, I'll be needing his dynamic personality on this mission."

"Understood, sir. Will you be accompanying this mission?"
"Of course! I want to meet this man face to face. But in the meantime, let's show him what it's like to be on the wrong end of an anonymous attack. Heh heh heh. Tell the boys to load the Hammer and prepare to fire."


A klaxxon bell went off. Still giggling Triskelli lept from his desk and out his door.

Triskelli ran up to the controls for his massive artillery piece. It dominated the base's landscape as it slowly turned to the northeast. The snubbed barrel raised as gears churned and sights lined up.
"Coordinates set, sir. Ready to fire on your command."

Triskelli grasped the firing handle. This was his favorite device he had ever "found". He grinned.
"FIRE!!!"

A massive shockwave rippled through the jungle as fire poured from the gun and soared into the sky.
"Merry Christmas."

The light illuminated on Lazarus and his men, a figure came walking from the light. It was Major Savauge.
"What have we here" He smirked holding a cigar in his one hand, "Prisoners it seems "
And with that the armed soldiers fired tranquillizer darts into all but Lazarus.
"You will come with me"
The rest of Lazarus's men were dragged away towards prison cells, Lazarus was escorted with a horde of heavily gunned and armoured men.
"You might wonder, where are we going?"
Lazarus said nothing
"Well, we shall see what the General has to say to you! You two there, strip him down to his underpants! Let's see him shiver in this cold!"
After a while Lazarus, Savauge and a few guards entered the Generals bunker, he had moved his main location of operation's closer to the bomb sheltered command centre.
"Now now now" Said General Micasr, "Our first prisoner of this campaign, and a tough one as well. Now, hopefully you are a civilised man, let us talk, tell me... everything..."

Meanwhile:

"Major Frunze! Alert! Alert! Alert! High velocity projectile heading towards us, impact site within at least 2k metres of the outer boundry. Request we use the recon drones laser!"
"Is it fully charged?!"
"Yes sir"
"Then fire it... again! and make sure it doesn't backfire again... if that is at all possible!"
"... em... firing"
And with the flick of many switches from a new and different command centre deep under the caldera, the Recon drones laser fired at the high velocity target, the sky above the caldera was once again a mix of reg and blue and explosion.
"Target eliminated."
"Good, step up patrols of helicopters and give me a status update on the 8th and 9th divisions. They're supposed to have entrenched in the surrounding forests."

Also meanwhile:
The bombers and fighters silently flew on, towards the large anomaly that had been spotted by recon drones. As i closed on the anomaly one of the stealth aircraft opened its rear door and out jumped half a dozen elite units, they scattered out into the forest. The rest of the armada continued on course.

reinforcements will be like my build time, not to many at a time. I only said that encase my force seemed superior to everyone else's

Also: my keyboard just broke using one of those rubber ones so I can't type any more.

Captain Sirius Jackson smiled slightly as the General posed his question.
'Have you heard of a Private Military Force called Alpha Team?'
The General nodded. 'The rumoured high tech tier1 lads. Yes, why?'
'We're them.' Jackson stood up.
'And do you really think I wouldnt have back up?' The power shut off, plunging the base into darkness. A flurry of screams and a click noted Sirius' escape. Jackson carried on down the corridor, picking up his team and weapons before bursting out of the building.

"Why did that just happen? Savauge why did that happen?"
"er..."
"I don't know why I even bother with prisoners in the first place, they all get shot in the morning anyway!"
Micasr looked around,
"That does it, I haven't come here to play game, where is he now?"
"Following the corridor, getting his equipment and team."
"And you haven't sent a team to KILL him yet?!"
"Enrout, base is now completely alert, all possible exits have been closed, the entire prison section is closed, all aircraft are on high alert."
"Good, and the anomaly?"
"ETA: 20min"

Luckily for Hanz, some men had distracted Firenze. He teleported just as the men shot tiny darts at his assailants. He did not activate the security system to kill the other men because they had helped him.

"Base status" Kityraz asked at tenuom. The awnser was:" 50% destroyed. We need power to restart the lab."
"When will those turrets be done?"
"On this speed they will be done in 2 or 3 hours."
"Good. But we need to go underground. Send a message to Onua and Pohatu that we need theyre help."
"Allready done. I thought that was best. Sometimes it is comes in helpfull that we are a team for over 100 years by now."

Like actual war, nothing depends on higher command... most of the time. While chaos was raging in a darkened base and a small dirt outpost suddenly got overwhelmed by a sudden case of darkness; the stealth bombers continued onto their targets. Learning from mistakes they flew lower and with fighter bomber escort. Because of recent... happenings... Major Frunze had ordered that instead of taking an all on invasion things would rather be more straight forward.

"We hit were it hurts most, for all intents and purposes, these people are united against us, and we need ground!"

And with that, the bombers, fighters and few stealth transport aircraft continued towards the latest target. First the bombers flew and then separated, fighters escorting the majority of the bombers. The rest headed straight for Xenathos' base. The aircraft made a low altitude bomb run, before their presence was detected the bombs had already been dropped and the aircraft went supersonic and retreated. As for the transport, comming in at low level, 2 divisions worth of elite units dropped out, some transport aircraft found suitable landing positions, from there, tanks, light IFV's and other vehicles boarded off the planes, soon an entire regiment had formed, some already attacking from within the base, the large, well armoured and well gunned force came in from the outside. Leading them... Captain Othello.
