Good day, Mr. Jackson.

1) Your Sequential Art web-comic – are there any special plans for it in the nearest few years, other than "being a good web comic"? Something like paperback comics, secret projects or some other kind of awesome merchandise?

2) As I understand, you are a freelance illustrator. If we forget for a moment about your personal projects (SA, LV, BB, P, etc.), how busy you are and are you happy with the amount of cash income?

3) Were there moments when you regreted being an illustrator? Is there a profession that would suit you well if you ever quit drawing? (Question without pun, so, please, do not answer "world dominator/ evil genius/ god” or something like that. You may be already, we know. And waiting.)

4) I know that you're not into numbers, but anyway: planning something special for your 1000 deviation?

5) Let's resolve it is once and for all: what voices would suite best for Kat, Vanity and Hillary?

Thank you for your attention.

Dear JollyJack,

1. What are your opinions on the Scott Pilgrim Series?

2. If Little Victory ever got a live action Film made of it, who would you cast as Victory Girl and Nayler?

PMJ is seems busy last days, nevertheless here's a new SA-related question:

What characters do on the St Valentine's day? Pip and Art are pretty much hating this day, but what about girls and denizens?

How on earth do you stay motivated to keep drawing? You seem to do a lot of stuff besides Sequential Art and I wondered how you manage to go and get it all done?

Guy's gotta eat Very Happy

I sit down in front of my computer right after I make my morning cup of tea, and it pretty much stays on until I can't keep my eyes open at night.

I'd be lucky if I could sit at a computer screen for 20 minutes before getting frustrated by not being able to draw stuff and then go all attention deficit...ooooh shiny...

And now for the Non-Sequitur question of the day:
Who do you think would win a fight in a battle royale of all the biggest/strongest female superheroes (Wonder Woman, She-Hulk, Power Girl, etc etc)? Do you have a particular fav?

Yes. At some point.

Out of the three listed, I think Power Girl would win. From what I understand, she's more or less Superman with boobs (though I could be wrong. I don't really read much DC/Marvel).
PG is also my fave character design (especially when drawn by Adam Hughes)

rpx wrote:Planing on making any more instructional videos?

I will at some point. Just a case of finding the time.

1 - Only real plan is to keep the strip going. I may take it to a "proper" publisher at some point.

2 - I'm always busy but I'm rarely under a huge amount of preassure because I don't report to anyone.

3 - If I couldn't draw, I'd write. I write a lot of fiction as it is, but I'd focus on it more.

5 - If I were casting a SA animation, I'd insist on using unknown actors.

Frist wrote:1. What are your opinions on the Scott Pilgrim Series?

1 - Never read the books. Only seen the film.

2 - As with the voice acting question earlier; I'd get unknown actors to play the parts.
Nayler was part-based on Dark City era Jennifer Connelly, though.

Haventownsend wrote:You plan on world domination. Could you elaborate on some of your ingenious ideas?

1 - Take over world.
2 - ???
3 - Profit.

Mr.Green wrote:Have you ever mimicked anything you express in your comics?

It's usually the other way around.

Okay, here is a few questions. /deep breath

1. Will JJ hamster will ever be part of the regular cast in SA? Would he try and install himself has the new leader of The Denizens for world conquest, or just a pervy home guest?

2. How will Pip get his head back? Will it involve the Think Tank?

3. Describe boobs in one word.

4. What kind a book genres you like the most?

/gasp /deep breath
5. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood if the wood was woodchuck eating wood so how much woodchuck eating wood could a woodchuck chuck before the woodchuck eating wood eats all the woodchucks?
/deep sigh

6. How you do feel that your work might, have, or will inspire other people to write, draw and etc?

That is all, for now...
Now if you excuse me, I'm going to run off laughing maniacally to myself.
'I wonder if a Jack the Denizen avatar would be better suited for me.'

6. How you do feel that your work might, have, or will inspire other people to write, draw and etc?

1 - No. That Hamster's purely there to break the 4th wall. He has no real cannonical influence.

2 - It will have miraculously grown back before his next appearance.

3 - I think the word "boobs" sums them up quite well.

4 - Reference. I don't read much in the way of fiction.

5 - 42

6 - Delighted!

rpx wrote:1)Does Wanda K. own a mansion of a building as her headquarters.

1 - Yes. Can't really detail more or it'll ruin the story I have planned.

2 - The ruler of the abyss (which is open to change).

how jolly are you on a scale of 1-10?

The internet has me going that everyone hates anthro characters because of their relation to some fetishism, but everyone i have shown the comic has enjoyed it and up to date.
do you get much hate with your subject matter and how do people react to your work irl?

Who can take a sunrise, sprinkle it with dew
Cover it with chocolate and a miracle or two?

Who can take a rainbow, wrap it in a sigh
Soak it in the sun and make a groovy lemon pie?

Who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream
Separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream?

Felonious Exalt

Felonious Exalt

I have been reading your comic for a time now. And it has inspired me to go back to my failed attempts at cartooning. With that said, I have been rather fickle until now about my future career:

As a child and/or teenager (assuming you were one at any time) did you see yourself growing up to draw epic and highly loved webcomics and so called "schmut?" If not, what did you always want to be?

Edit: One other question: "How much Fan Mail (E-mail, letters, severed body parts) do you get?"

Mr. Jolly Jack,

Speaking of your childhood. What were some of the things you used to draw from your young school years up to your 20s? How did your drawing style change and develop? What made it what it is today? (other than just practice) Why dose it have that Unique look that just stands out from others Unique styles.

Thanks for your time Very Happy
