Introduce Yourself!

Alloooooo! I'm Aimereta, AKA Ami-Chan. I've been reading SA and following Jack's work for some time now, but I never got around to registering in the forums, hehe I'm a university student in California, second year... I'm double majoring in Theatre and English. Ummm, I've had the name Aimereta since I was like, 12... She's my second personality (I'm an MPD) and also the main character in three of my books. I'm a freelance author, an anime nerd, and I work the Renaissance Faire in the fall. I'm a gamer-girl that loves FPS's, MMORPG's, RPG's and all the classics. My brother showed me a few strips of SA a few years back, and I've been hooked ever since. So yeah, fun stuff ^_^

It all started with Play Magazine and those awesome VG comics, from there I found the site and here I am

Late to the party, but I'm glad I've shown up.

How you chose your name: It was an unused character from a superhero play-by-E-mail RPG that never took off. I figured it was as good a nom du surf as any.
Where you're from: Currently teaching in Southeast China, though I'm originally from the Greater Metropolitan Mayberry Area, USA.
What you're studying/hobbies: I like writing and reading fan-fiction and the occasional satire, surfing through deviantART and the news, and generally harrumphing about the current world situation. And the occasional browser flash game.
How you found the site/forums: TV Tropes led to the Sequential Art strips. The link there led to Collected Curios. The months of checking out the art led to the forum link.

And THAT has led to my current delinquency. Hope you're proud of yourselves.

How you chose your name: Well my Idol is a great inventor named Nikolai Tesla. So when i came up with my Avatar look first... the name just poped into my head. Nikolai Bartolf (Bartolf is from MY last name Bartholf, minus the "H")

Where you're from: I live in a Small town called Beaufort In South Carolina (USA) Not much arts here... so i am trying to get artistic friends from this forum.

What you're studying/hobbies: I love to Draw and can pretty much adapt to any style i see. Lately I've been Emulating Jolly Jacks SA style... i just LOVE his style of furris. they are just too cute. i wish i could come up with my own style as cute as what JJ pulled off... im really cureous of how he got that style started.

How you found the site/forums: I have a friend that showed me the SA strip and it got me hooked on it.. i could not get over the design of Kat, and Scarlet... i was so jellous that i began to practice his style.

What: Well it's summer where I'm at so I just hang out with friends, play games, exercise, watch movies, nothing really that unique.

How you chose your name: I originally created the term "zumbo" as a secret word for "nonperson" for a forum, but then decided to play a joke on them, and have been using this handle ever since.
Where you're from: Niagara Region in Canada. Lots of grapes here.
What you're studying/hobbies: Studying Horticulture(specifically, Landscaping) at Niagara College; transferred from Civil Engineering elsewhere. I play video games, read, roller blade, bike, and hike. I've also started making simple animations and image editing, which I rather enjoy.
How you found the site/forums: I'm a webcomic whore. Love the funnies and basically anything with a good story and art style I like. I like the comic and lurked here a bit. Most of you seem reasonable, so I figured I may as well join the forum.

How you chose your name: Was the name i came up with for a sonic fan character, i hated it, but now the name has stuck!
What you're hobbies: Collecting video games and stuffs, I have more consoles than most people have games.
How you found the site/forums: I found the site through stumbleupon, but after enjoying the comics, found the forum, and have only just bothered registering for the 'New' forums.

How you chose your name: Inakan was an old mmorpg chracter.....he didn`t survive....

I love this webcomic ( secuential art ) I dont have any problem reading in english (but I have problems writting or speaking...i speak spanish as my predominant lenguaje)

I'd rather you not call my ShayuaHaise, or Shayua, cause that's just a nickname :3 I rather being called my NORMAL nickname, which is DJ.
I'm from Louisiana, in the USA. I'm a writer, I've written some unpublished books, and I'm also a novice artist (Pencil art)
I found the site from a friend. He was reading the Lorecraft boardgame strip and sent it to me, and I just started reading SA xD

I chose this name because it has the first two letters of my favorite webcomics: BeDa=Better Days, OrLi=Original Life, and SeAr=Sequential Art, but I now pronounce it Be-door-li-sere. I found this site after reading Sequential Art, which I had found a link to at http://www.jaynaylor.com/. I enjoy reading either extremely easy-to-read books or something philisophical like The Fountainhead. I live in Mississppi but I've only spent half my life here.
