What grinds your gears?

What grinds my gears is that I get these heart palpitations i've been having scare the living daylights out of me every time it happens, which is almost daily.

My tablet is broken. Heck, no wonder since it was crap, but now I'm left with pen & paper. I'm thinking about buying Wacom Cintiq, but not 21UX, because it's too expensive. Wacom Cintiq 21WX is something more adequate to my expenses, but only A5 format? Financial choices. I hate them.

It's suprising that a country that started as a penal colony has nowdays one of the most harsh and quite often illogical laws in the so-called "wester civilization".

A letter arrives today. They think everyone should be broadband communists, and tell me that they don't like poeple using the internet for all the time. Hence they want to cap everyone after peak times.

It's just an elaborate excuse for "we can't provide a decent connection, so we're going to give you crap speeds so everyone can be equal."

My biggest gear grinder right now is my english professor, she's so anal about everything. She's say she's passionate, but we as students can smell BS a mile away. She's technical and just loves to take points off for mistyping a period with a comma. Passionate my arse.

actually in terms of pictures of nude women and porn it isn't a hoax, the way the classifcation board has written it even if the woman is over 18 if she doesn't LOOK over 18 (i.e: having small breasts, lack of height, facial appearance, etc) than the classifcation board might consider the picture to be child porn.

Ugh! I know exactly what you mean. Be it a roach or just some other kind of icky bug. You could step over it or take something and squish it, but you're stuck and you don't want it to crawl near you. Eww!

The new law banning small-breasted women and female ejaculation IS a hoax though. I'll find the source if you like to prove it.

I've just watched "Failan", a brilliant Korean movie wich I can only describe as the first melodrama adressed to males (that doesn't mean girls are excluded from viewers group).
Near the end I was crying like the main hero, mostly because in some way I can relate. It speaks truth about my behaviour, an uncomfortable truth. I like to describe myself using examples from movies, books etc.
So, yes, I'm kind of like Kang-jae. I admit it and I don't like it. But I don't want to change.

The source is the site where the hoax originated, and I have a few other sources that prove it was a hoax. There was a discussion started about this on another forum I go to, and someone provided those sources and calmed everyone down.

I laughed at the hoax, it's quite funny. It seemed like an outdated law joke to me at first until I read on... and on... and on... and sighed.

No, it doesn't. I just don't think that Pietja has much room to say that something with sexual connotation shouldn't be here when he talks about worse almost every post he makes.

Digging my car out from over 3 feet of packed snow thanks to the plows. People from the Mid-Atlantic to the New England region would know what I"m talking about...

In Poland I have the same problem as you, Zaran. Thanks to the plows, also. Last four days I was in home curing mild, yet annoying flu, so I haven't drive anywhere. When I saw my car with snowy support instead wheels wich dissapeared under the shell.

Tommorow morning - shovel, hot water and maybe a pickaxe. Or taking a bus long walk to work and spending it in front of a desk (wich I hate).

Yea right? Plows are good and stuff, but if you look at your car from the street side, you go, wtf is my car? A feet of snow on top and three on the side -_-"

I was sick also and unfortunately the snow had frozen...looks like the bike for me for the next few days.

I gotta stop going into jewelry stores just to look. I always find something I love that I know I can't have.
