Kat switches teams

i love Colbert!

I've posted this on the old forum, but I'll repost it, as I think it relates to recent events :

Y'know... If I hadn't read the latest strip before coming to the forum, I would have wondered about all the squeals that I keep hearing and all the yurishippers out cold on the floor with dumb smiles on their faces.

Well, seriously, they do say that hate and lust are closely-linked and Kat and Hillary had both been drinking fairly heavily. Nonetheless, I'm wondering if the Thing From The Pit is trying to figure out what Kat is by presenting her mind with a series of ever more bizarre scenarios based on her memories and, yes, her darkest fantasies.

One thing that we can be sure of: Things are gonna get a lot weirder yet. Kat probably has a lot a freakiness yet in her imagination to come out.

'Knight in shining armour' Art? Fierce jealousy of Scarlet for her effortless innocent hotness? Mortal fear that Pip doesn't just act like a monstrous perv, he really is one?

Could show what she hates the most. As Hillary being the being of whom she bases most of her hate on her biggest nightmare would be basing any affection on her, let alone any romantic or sexual attention.

Then again, booze was involved, though there wasn't a point of how much they drank, since when Kat drinks, JJ always points it out. Then again, being half-drunk and kissing Hillary would probably make her not drink again.

My question is more as Hillary has a personality base on dominance if she were to become affectionate to Kat. Hillary would see Kat more as property than anything else.

However Kat is making the move since Hillary is pinned against the fence, making her the submissive one.

It does remind me of the earlier SA strips. Hillary might find people who stand up to her attractive. It happens a lot with powerful people.

I beg to differ. I'm in college and that "phase" has never happened with me.

Anyway, I'm interested to see when this hallucination/nightmare/dream/flashback is going to end and how. I want to know what's actually going on and kinda looking forward to finding out what that creature in the cave is.

Don't get me wrong, i love some of the long story arcs, but sometimes i like to get back to the real world and wonder if these arcs get longer because ideas have faltered for the real world for a time... i imagine this to be very possible as i often do similar when writing out scenes for a strip or an adventure...

Damn, one day passed and 5 pages of replies. I don't think a single strip in SA has caused so much commotion before, even if it's understandable.

But regardless guys, I say let it run its natural course. If Kat and Hilary carry on making out for several more strips, just slide with it. It's not like it'll even go into more explicit territory.

Considering all the suggestive pictures drawn by Jolly Jack of Kat with Scarlet or Vanity, one might wonder if Kat's interest in Art is the real team switching. However, let it be said that the pictures are not necessarily canon unless directly referenced in the comic. The Kat w/ Scarlet (or Vanity) could actually be canonically Pip's daydreams for all we know.

With all due respect (and I apologize if this offends), I'd call your statement the wishful thinking of a young, red-blooded male. (Of course, please remember that you most likely have more practical experience in dating and, maybe, stork summoning than I do, so I stand a good chance of being wrong.)
