Dead Space is pretty good.
Atmospheric, the navigation system means you're never stuck wandering around trying to work out where you should be going. However, it also means it's dead easy to just follow it around without actually exploring.
Story is a little ropy in places, and the difficulty level has a habit of suddenly shooting up at certain spots.
Inventory system is a little poor, and I found myself constantly running out of carryspace even with the biggest suit of armour going.
The camera angle is a touch irritating, with the player always obscuring a good portion of the screen, which really doesn't help when something drops out of a vent onto your head.
Overall, a good game, bit of a weak ending, but worth playing, especially if you managed to pick it up for free during the epic EA screwup.
