Yeeeah, you might wanna skip this one, little guy, as Art bears a slight dislike (as in taking great pleasure in gunning them down) for cupids.
Wouldn't really put it past Kat either.

I just think this is proof (if proof were ever needed) of how accomplished Art and Kat are in the fine art of denial. They don't even notice the pinpricks anymore unless something really exceptional is happening.

Oh, they cared about each other. They are not in a rush. This is just not a proper time for it.

So, better luck next time you bizarre winged, arrow shooting freak!!!

The working arrows missed Wink .

Art once hoped for love like all of us, but then he took an arrow to the knee?

Hawke

There is so much that could go wrong if this isn't a one off...

...or go right...

depending on your opinion...

Laughing I didn't even notice that!
You'd think that with all the time I waste spend playing Skyrim...

Some preemptive fridge brilliance:

It doesn't work because they're already in love. Cupid's arrows are as redundant as trying to make the ocean wet with a bucket of water.

Here's a thought for ya cupid. Your arrows might not work on people who are already in love? it would make sense since they care a lot for one another.

Seriously, watching these two is almost more painful that Remains of the Day.It's like Would you PLEASE hook up already, you know you're nuts about each other. Poor cupid... I feel your pain.

Maybe they're..."buddies"? Notice how they never hook up with each other or anyone else and they do all their "stuff" off panel?

Why do I recognize a bit of JJ in Cupid's face?

That's my thought, too. Love is more than the three-year window of infatuated passion we typically think of it as. There's also the more muted, but long-lived and reliable love that (hopefully) comes after the infatuation love. Art and Kat appear to be in that stage. This is a good thing since it means they're more likely to stay together if they ever decide to take the next step.

Of course, taking the next step should be done with all due care because, if the current sexual tension is improperly released, there's a strong chance of shark-jumping. Of course, lots of troubles can arise between interracial romances, so what sort of troubles would arise when one of the parties is feline?

I do like that Jolly Jack portrayed Cupid with a Greco-Roman sort of kilt-type clothing instead of a diaper. (I found out, with my version of Cupid, that the diaper kept looking more and more ridiculous as time went on, especially when one takes into account that he's been married and has had at least one daughter since Roman times.) I wonder if Jolly Jack has plans for Psyche (she with the butterfly wings) showing up.

That proves we are right.
