Rhodes isn't based on anyone.

The Snow-leopard has a name, but I can't remember it off the top of my head. It's in the file related to that story....somewhere....

Has anyone ever recognized you in real life? Have you ever been out shopping or at a fancy restaurant when a complete stranger just comes out of the blue and asks for an autograph and a quick sketch?

I've only once been recognised (I think you chaps over-estimate my popularity!), and that was at the recent comics expo in Birmingham.
I was talking to one of my friends who had a table there and someone that was looking over his work recognised my face from the photos I’d put on DeviantArt and my voice from the stuff I’ve put on Youtube.
Got caught up in another conversation, though, and he wandered off.
Hope he didn’t think I was ignoring him.

1) Is it yours or the guy happened to have the same name?
Okay, stupid question. Why not mentioning all those books on the site? Why 2 profiles? All stuff from the front page is on PMJ profile, except for SA volume 2, that is on PM.

Going to order all that after SA vol 3 appearence.

2) What is wrong with the Scarlet on SA vol 2 inner cover? She doesn't seem very happy.

Those books have nothing to do with me. I've no idea why they're coming up on a "search for other titles by this creator".
I'll contact Lulu and ask them to look into it.

1. I’m gonna cheat and list them in pairs that always make for the most entertaining stories:
Gina and Brit
Charlie and Tiff
Julia and Theo
M and Stryyp
Gar and Luan

2. The Joker, Doctor Robotnik, Otto Octavius (The Spiderman 2 incarnation), Blofeld, GlaDOS. In that order.

3. If you think she stands out, that’s more down to your opinion than anything to do with the character.

4. I was a big fan, until it got bogged down in all that conspiracy crap. I keep meaning to get the box sets for the first couple of series.

If you put one of your characters with a character who appears in other comics, which one would you choose? i.e: Scarlet teaming up with batman because she'd make a kooky Robin.

What was the reaction of your family (mother, father, siblings, if you have any) when you made a serious decision about becoming an illustrator?
Or maybe they knew it for a long time, maybe even before you, because little JJ would torment their walls with crayons and stuff like that?
Were you encouraged by them?
Or did they wanted you to become a doctor or a lawyer?

Ok., one more - you sell your comics through lulu.com, right? Then the question is how many % you get from a single sold copy? And who holds the right for the title, characters, overall franchise in "Little Victory" for example? Do lulu.com publishers have any rights on this field? I assume that you're not free to go elswhere, let's say digital comic releases on Amazon, without facing some consequences.

I'm actually quite surprise thinking about it, that you havn't done a male skunk equivalent of Chloe or whatever. Have you thought about that? Also I wonder how long it would be before she pounced on him.

You make it sound like telling your parents you're going to draw for a living is like announcing that your sexual orientation is not what they were expecting Very Happy

The question I asked may sound weird when asked in your coutry, but not so much in mine. Most friends or acquaintances I have on Academy of Beuty Arts that don't have artist as a parents still think that their children are batshiet insane for choosing arts for living.

Seriously, most folks 'round here wouldn't care about sexual orientation of their child more than if their child profession was being an illustrator.

jollyjack wrote:I once hit a tennis ball so hard, it exploded.

I did the same with football. Poof, one patch was ripped off and some white rubber bubble showed through it.
I blame the age of the ball, not my strength extraordinare though. Very Happy

Ok, a question :

You and many other artists have a problem with illegal distribution of their works.
Torrents, imageboards, dedicated sites, sharing sites... etc. The people who upload, share and re-destribute copyrighted works don't have problems with the word copyrighted and in thid day and age, pictures and documents are the most easiest mediums to copy and upload.
I belive I know what is your take on those who do that thing, but I'd like to know if you have any reasonable solution on your mind how can you - maybe not end, but - minimize the losses.

I thought you were an artist as just kind of a hobby, I didn't know this is your "occupation" , well in that case do you enjoy your "job"?

I don't think it's just America. There are plenty of people on this side of the pond that have no problem letting their children engage in virtual bloodshed, but who kick up a stink if they spot something that's a little too suggestive on the sex front.

Youchip wrote:are your family/friends weirded out by the anthro stuff?

No. They think it's funny as hell that I can make a living by drawing a cat in a bikini.

Whenever you say that (Cat in a bikini) I am thinking of that one pic with Hamster you with Helga holding two shirts that say "I <3 Furries" or something like that and "Yiff in hell" saying you are a marketing genius.

As a related note, yes. It is funny.
