Can't tell if they're reacting to his appearance, or the movie plot... 

I can't help but think that this means war.

They both have frequency modulations that reveal each other's true nature on a large scale - this was like a nuclear arsenal balance up till now.

Cameron made the first step by providing the "special" 3D glasses.

But now the aliens have raised the ante by actually uploading their modulation and revealing the mer-people (because I don't think Cameron is alone on this) on a large (global?) scale.

Alea jacta est.

Ok, JJ, what exactly did Cameron to you? I mean drawing him as a mermaid? That's a new level  .

Besides that, I was nearly the same as the kids when I realized what happened ... too much time between the last strips and this one  .

That being said, the revelation of James Cameron has some backing to it once you look into his contributions to marine science and the like.

I don't wanna see Michael Bay show up anymore. Because if he does, it'll be in Namor's fishscale speedo <:C

True. Not to mention that Art & the gang have seen much, much weirder, but this could just be a case of 'the straw that broke the camel's back'.

Exactly, but I guess it helps that I have a mentor who is more insane than a mental patient on steroids and heroine.

But ah well, I just find it interesting to see how low the capacity for weird things are for other people.
