I'm still holding off judgement, not because I think Hilary has changed or anything, but because there is something off about this whole setup. Why even bring Pip over? You run the chance of him catching you, and now you've lost your alibi, plus made another enemy. I"m waiting to see the whole story

Something is off. There's that, and the time she's been taking off work is still unaccounted for, unless we're meant to infer that she's just been having orgies the whole time.

I find myself more disappointed in this strip than anything else. It seems to be deliberately trying to make the viewer feel bad, and it's such a petty and banal "twist"; I was expecting something less clichéd and more entertaining.

I suppose that's the root of my complaint, really. I am no longer entertained.

I had a similar rant when I read this strip, but I think we should try to postpone obvious conclusions and wait a couple of strips more. Because I refuse to believe that Jollyjack fucked up.

WHEW!!! For a moment there I was worried! That Pip and Whor-....HILARY would have gotten pretty awkward.

Hilary gonna slip on something and get her lie or her men mixed up. Wolf guy walks, Pip pulls away (or tries), Then I sense Kat coming in for the rescue/kill. Leaving Art to deal with his best bud broken. A strip or two after that I sense something like Art cornering her at the resale shop, her with her usual bitch facade and him with righteous anger, tearing into her and leaving her with some rather awe inspiring words that will maybe make her end up in the back crying again. Only this time no Pip, nobody but her own self, and her knowledge she did it on her own. Pip will fall back into the E-bay(or SA version of it) again as his suspension is over by this point and remain his normal self, perhaps with a healthy dose of reality that will make him creep deeper in that nerd hole he stays in most of the time.

I could even see him selling something that she gave him as a present, to show he is getting over her. Perhaps something like a pink pony lunch box? I dunno. Drama writer I am, not a comedic writer.

could wolf boy be an old boy friend of kat by chance? that might add a great twist

Fine. If hilary's still a conniving and selfish bitch, let her comeuppance be hard and devastating!

Poor poor pip...if and when he finds out....he will either break down leaving Kat and Art to pick up the pieces and get revenge for him....or He will get a much greater revenge on Hilary she could ever imagine.

That was very far from a rant. And everyone fucks up occasionally.

Hilary is being Hilary.
She had one weak moment with Pip and now she is back to normal (for her). Spending the day shopping, lunching, job hunting, possibly even some afternoon sex while Pip covers her shift can be expected. It's not that she's lazy, but she is a user. Plus, we know it feels insulting to her to have to work in that shop. I also don't see her as cheating on him. I don't recall a conversation between the two concerning monogamy, and one night of sex does not a relationship make.

However, while Pip may be a bit naive, I do hope he doesn't simply take this when he finds out. Whenever Pip has retaliated, it's usually done by giving someone enough rope to hang themselves. I hope he gets a little passive-aggressive revenge, whipped into the most extravagant of dishes, and served so very, very, cold.

Well, I see most of you are getting on the lets all kill Hilary boat. Still, I think it would be freaking hilarious if Pip woke up, caught them and then asked if he could record it. Prompting him, Hilary and Wolf-boy to go into the pornography business and make them all a fortune. Hilary embarrasses herself a little bit, but makes enough money that she never has to worry about anything again, Pip is happy because....live smut and Wolf-boy....dude is getting his brains rocked out most likely. So I can see this turning out happily more likely than bad. Pip is the type of dude who always wants a little bit more....that and he could probably explain how they'd all become millionaires if they go along with the plan.

A lot of people seem to be getting upset at JJ. Remember, he's doing all this for free. He slaves away to bring us a funny, entertaining strip on a regular basis and he doesn't ask for anything in return.
I believe it's premature to suddenly judge the entire arc based on a single strip that amounts to 10 seconds in story-time.
I'd prefer to wait until the entire arc is finished before I deliver my verdict.
Personally, I can't wait to see where it's heading.
