To bring balance to The Force... Kat should be furious and get together with Art. Even if it's a one time fling, it'd let both Art and Pip have a new thing to talk about.

And, you got me to register after all, JJ ... Great job! Been around for ages, just ... never thought I'd end up on the forums ... But this arc ... Finally beat me ...

I'm with Wolfman-Al when it comes to Pip and Hilary's long-term relationship. Hilary now knows where Kat lives, can legitimately torment Kat without appearing the villain, has Pip on her side, and is in a position to cause more trouble when she feels like it.

Short-term, she's probably not quite over the initial buzz of getting into a new relationship, so much of her enjoyment may be genuine.


Kat's going to be driven up a tree. Pip will be all on Hilary's side until her true colors bleed through again, and even then he's going to be slow to catch on. Art will be doing his best not to get involved. Scarlet and her affect on Hilary is, as yet, unknown. The true wildcard is the main characters' own crazy antics and the weirdness that keeps showing up like some flaky relative. Will Hilary be able to withstand Shadow Jack's liaison with OzBasic? The Denizens? Gary? The next alien/insane computer/shadowman-like phenomena? Considering what we know of her personality, she may be the type when, if faced with another OzBasic/Shadow Jack kill-sat-like scenario, would let the world burn if it meant she wouldn't have to risk her hide.

All will be cleared when we see how the Denzi and the Think Tank girls interact with her.

Kat: *finds the Squirrels & confronts them* "Alright what did you do?!"
Scarlet: *confused (no surprise there)* "...Huh?"
Kat: "Whenever something weird, impossible or otherwise f**ked up happens, the four of you are usually involved."

I don't think you give Art enough credit. He had to deal with Hilary during the whole ad campaign. I doubt he's going to just fade into the background and hide after that. Frankly I'd like to see him be the one to take a stand and try to be the one to protect Kat.

all that aside, and i'm just throwing this out there from left field, but could it be that JJ is planing to cool things off between Kat and Hilary, in order to bring in or introduce a bigger/badder badguy antagonist. i'm not saying that the two would become best friends... just learn to tolerate each other for Pip's sake?

or this could all be a dream induced by Pip's mind to keep from freaking out after having pity sex with a smoking hot porn-star bunny.

But what if Pip is the first friend/boyfriend Hilary has ever had. Sad thought what if her rivalry with cat has been the closet thing to friendship in her life.

Or...Hilary could actually be a decent person until she with some help from Pip gets back on her feet. And then goes back to her old ways.

will we finally get to see kat and art get together like we all know they should. they are exactly like those 2 friends that i am certain most people have that they wish to set up with each other but both of the friends have each other in the friend zone.

Hilary seems like the fixating sort. She wants to be liked. It's why she hates Kat. She thought Kat ruined her chances at being liked as a kid and eventually probably forgot the reasoning and fixated on the hate alone. We know she did porn but obviously being liked for her body wasn't enough for her. All the people she thought liked her turned out to not like her. She got a moment of kindness from Pip. It may have been the start of a new focus for her everybody like me thing. Heck Pip identified her, showed similar though processes, was kind to her, and still wanted to be around her after "reaping the benefits" even when she has nothing else to offer him since she's minimum wage broke. I still think it's probably a trap but their seems like a fair chance that she might have fallen for someone showing her genuine kindness at the lowest point in her life. That can change a person.

She's probably still the Queen B@#$% of B@#$% Mountain though.

Personally, I think that it's wrong to suggest that Hillary has any kind of plan. Right now, she's at an emotional loose end, feeling vulnerable and is simply treading water and letting the tide carry her along. "It seemed like a good idea at the time" is probably her current watch-phrase. Things will get really interesting when free-drift is no longer possible (say a confrontation with Kat).

Similarly, it will be interesting to see if Pip is willing to defend his girl-bunnyfriend against Kat's likely upcoming explosion.

...I have no idea what to think. She looks like she's serious about it, but it could all be a very, very convoluted plan to get at Kat, ...somehow. Somehow, banging Pip, is going to hurt Kat. ...Somehow.

Okay time to throw my point of view in here.
I don't think that this is a convoluted plan to get Kat. Like someone mentioned earlier, that would just scream of obsessive stalker insanity. Hillary would need to be put away in a padded cell. She doesn't strike me as the kind of person to actually FOLLOW Kat around in order to make her miserable. If she was, Kat would have had to deal with her a LOT more. She just takes the opportunity to mess with Kat when she happens to show up.

That said, Kat has just shown up.

I think that Hillary is genuinely just enjoying her time with Pip. She was miserable, he made her feel better, and now they're playing some mindless video games. She may really like the little guy. BUT she still does not like Kat.
So I think while, she really does like Pip, she will either A) actively mess with Kat, or B) knows that her mere presence will drive Kat up the wall and will do absolutely nothing (more plausible I think). And while Kat is going batty, she'll just continue cuddling with her new fluffy penguin boy.
