MicasR wrote:Oi, Nikolai, Frist; Is there a schedule you guys follow when practising/practised to draw?
I'm kind of the lazy man, can't get anything done unless I have a set of rules I made myself or a goal.
Sadly I have a goal but it's not motivation enough ;) So was wondering if you guys have any tips for getting better ie what to practice and how much?
Edit: Also, Nikolai, stop crying. It's not going to make a wacom tablet appear any sooner so cheer up and draw a ferret.

Phew, sorry I'm late to the response. You wouldn't believe the day I had.
Anyway, I pretty much draw whenever I'm in the mood and have free time. Long as those two requirements are met, I can get work done. I guess I've just grown a desire for it, and no longer have to force myself to draw.
The only tip I can give you is that experience increases your drive. So the more you do, the more you'll want to do it. That's how it works for me anyway. Keep practicing!

Hey, Smelge, care to critique at all? On anything? It'd be a big help.
Be as harsh as you need to, you don't have to pull punches.

Good call, sadly those tutorials never really satisfy me.
MicasR wrote:Dude, nice. Looks very good. Maybe you should put as part of your tips: draw bigger, think that's why most of my stuff doesn't look half as good ;)
