More Fun With Coloring. Finally recolored "Some Dark Guy" After that tragic loss that happened last time, I was so...not wanting to do it. Well It looks better then it did last time.
I'd just like the online community to know this, and I hope I can find words adequate enough to express the tragedy involved.
I know Nikolai personally. He is a neighborhood friend and we've been comrades for years now. But just today, his longtime home has been gutted by flames. While both he and his family are unharmed, the fire has taken nearly everything they have, save for a few valuables.
Among the things saved from immolation was Nik's collection of sketchbooks. I hope that the artistic community here can be supportive in our friend's time of need... I know that I'll be there for him, whenever he needs me.

We're here for you, Nikolai, and despite the cheesiness of that saying it is true. Whether or not you like it or whether or not it will help, I'm still gonna pray for you (as we cheesy Christians do)

Great Scott!
Good thing you guys are OK. Thats the truly only important thing right? The drawings can't be replaced. But its the skill that you got from them that really counts in the end right?
Hope you get your insurance to pay out! Good luck. And we are here to listen and possibly cheer you up.
Ugilick, there was a strong thunderstorm last night, and a bolt of lightning struck his house. The attic caught fire, and was out of control before anything could be done.
Thanks for all your support, guys, it means alot to Nik.

Sorry to hear about it man. I've been there. You can't really understand how much it sucks to lose everything, or just what that means, until it happens to you. We lost everything, childhood photos from not only my childhood but my mother's too, valuables and clothes. The only thing left of the house was a tiny corner of the porch, nothing was salvageable. It's good that you were able to save something that meant something to you, that will be a great thing to hold onto later to keep it from being so tough.

Likewise, that's pretty! Personally, while I like them, I think the inside ear fur coloring is a bit much, going by what she' s already got, but that's just me, what do I know? If you like it that way, Rock On!
By all means, experiment; like I said, I like the idea! Well done!

I know what you mean, I was debating for several Hours (believe it or not) On if the Fur in her Ears should be "Highlighted" Purple. I Tried several Colors, Including A Dark Gray, But over all, I still think the Purple made it look a little less Bland.
I could Redo that part, making it dark Gray. If you want to see it that way.

Finally! I HAVE DRAWN SOMETHING!!! Its of Sam, I haven't drawn her in a very long time. So, I decided to a few days ago. She is dancing to some Music. I thought I did pretty well on this drawing. I like how I did the Headphones and the Legs. The Legs are actually where I started on this one. lol

Ok, well you see, When I finished up the hands, and decided for her to be dancing to some music, I didn't want to mess up the drawing (Her Left Hand) by trying to make her hold an "unimportant" amount of detail. so I just kept her hands closed. Thus.... Palm Sized Ipod. lol
