I feel your pain, Art! It's horrible to realise that you've finally aged to the point when you can rightly call yourself a 'grumpy old man'.
Like Art, I remember VHS (magnetic tape audio-visual recording, for those young whippersnappers out there) and everything needing a cable. Like him, I regard wireless input peripherals with a degree of distrust, mostly due to the fact that I could never get my Nintendo GBA's wireless communications to work except at a carefully-aligned sensor-to-sensor alignment at four feet line-of-sight. It's hard to get used to the fact that technology has moved on and that gimmicks that you well remember being glitchy and unreliable are now unremarkable and proven for everyday use!
