Favorite One?

Okay, out of the entire bunch in this hilarious Webcomic... Who's your favorite? Personally my fave's are Scarlet, her sisters, and Kathleen. OH! And the Denizens... After that evil one was done away with that is.

Hmm... First is Pip's adventures in the Land of Lorecraft with his friend the elf-witch. I just loved Jack's reproduction of the WoW gameworld and interface. One day, we are going to have to see if Pip and that girl would like each other IRL.

Second is Jack's Attack. The endless sci-fi nerd and James Bond in-jokes kept me reading (I joined only after it was originally posted, so I read the whole sequence in one sitting).

Third is Kat getting an unexpected revenge on her old school teacher. "Ding-dong! The witch is dead!"

Anyway, my favorite character is Scarlet. I just love the paradox of innocence and intelligence. Art, the token sane man in a world turned into an unending acid trip, is my second favorite. I kind of liked OzBASIC too. I was glad to have seen the hints that he will be back in a team-up with Jack.

My favourite character is probably Art...but I love them all!

The topic heading "Favourite One?" made me wonder if this was favourite character or favourite episode/story arc...

I like all of the four main cast, but Scarlet's the only one who gives me the warm fuzzies. It's very odd; I don't normally focus on childlike characters but her mixture of scientific brilliance, naivety and youthful energy are an extraordinary mix to have in one individual, yet it's worked so well in the comic.

Maybe it's also because I'm green with envy because unlike myself, nobody expects Scarlet to grow up. I wonder what she'd be like as a grandmother...?

It used to be all about Scarlet for me, evers since the "Mom/Kat, I want one of these for christmas" moment.
It might just be me, but I feel that recently JJ seems to have made a major up-step on emotionally expressive face shots. Kat has benefitted the most from these so far (which may be to do with the first one I noticed of these being the "Kat Glee" moment on seeing her photos in print in the book at the start of the current tale).

I do look forward to seeing if this carries over to the other characters, but for now, Kat reigns supreme.

(Vanity is also benefitting from the expressive faces, but I've dated a gothy little spook-fish *cough* Sorry... I've dated a goth-style writer in the past and so I'm somewhat biased :-P

Art is my favorite, because I see myself so much in that poor bastard. When everything is going insane, somehow, Art has to manage to save the day.

That, and we both destroy anything technological we touch.
