Maybe a little too good

Well, Pip always wanted a busty superheroine to be his one true love! Okay, so this one is twelve inches high and made of vinyl but it's the principle of the thing!

It does go to show you, though, that any behaviour-modifying magic is only as good as its target is at knowing how they're supposed to respond to stimuli. In Art and Kat's case, they've got so good at denying their 'twinges' that even a Cupid Machine-gun is ignored as another in a long list of "But it can never be...!" moments. In Pip's case, it demonstrates the fact that his hold on reality is tentative to say the least.

Pip, sometimes you surprise me.

This is not one of those times.

Don't know...they could still be duds...I know a couple of plastic statues that I have wanted to....um....yeah no, maybe they are duds.

I think Cupid expected this reaction from Pip. After all, he's been in the business of gleefully goofing up people for centuries, and it's highly unlikely he'd stick Pip with an arrow when there's no one else visible (presumably Cupid is invisible to Our Heroes) and expect a reaction if he didn't think Pip would get all smoochy with the figurine.

Proves nothing. Pip does that anyway.

Which could be argued that Cupid's done this to Pip before. Perhaps this isn't the first time he's needed to test arrows on a guinea pig.

Made an account here to point out the obvious that somehow hasn't been mentioned here

The cupids arrows don't work on Art and Kat because they're already in love with each other, which means the arrows are redundant!

EDIT: And of course a tiny amount of searching in the thread for the last topic reveals that this has been discussed already. Well then. I think I'll just take my leave and try not to embarrass myself anymore.
