Ever see "The Emperor's New Groove" and the giant roasted pillbugs?, cause that's what I am kinda seeing now with her being inside him and being cooked from the inside out.

Or Jack could simply come up with the plot point that she can't fire the lasers inside the bug because while she would be safe in the suit, the two kids would get cooked inside along with mr bug's innards and keep his story safe ;D
