Holy fucking shit. I was genuinely laughing out loud the whole time. NOBODY can watch Season 2 Episode 3: Lesson Zero and still think this is a kids only show. I think my favorite part was Rainbow Dash using a sonic rainboom to detonate Applejack's old barn in a mushroom cloud.

its still very much a kids show, unless you think comic-psychosis is an indication of pandering to an adult fanbase

Of course it's still a kids show, but there's a difference between "kiddy" and "fun for the whole family". You've also got to understand that "adult" doesn't always refer necessarily to sex, drugs and violence. Things like cultural references, callbacks and just plain tight well structured writing are going to be better understood and appreciated by adults than kids.

im saying that its not significant enough to warrant watching for that reason
personally i watch it because its genuinely cute and has some nice animation
the fan made stuff takes away from this and reminds me that I should be catching up on House MD instead

im just gonna throw this out there. I like the show and lots of other people like the show. There are lots of people out there who havent seen the show and lots of people who dont like the show. If someone doesnt like that show fine. if someone hasnt seen the show then ill tell them they should watch it. its like a religion (though im not saying the mylittlepony watchers should become one) if a person is a catholic then a Jew shouldnt hate him for being catholic and a catholic shouldnt hate the jew for being a jew. you see what im saying?
