Started playing minecraft. Pretty cool. Started building a huge sandstone castle, with bridge to another castle! Yeah!!!!.....also I put it on peaceful......I'm a wuss.

Actually to me it's the best way to get something in line of defense built, for a new player I recommend it. It's what I do, build up in peaceful, get some stuff stockpiled like food stuffs and armor and weapons, when you feel ready start off on easy and work your way up.
I'm on hard right now and I hate it. Hard is like creeper haven. I had one chase me for two RT hours once when I died and then spawned away from my items.
