Ohh, man, I felt that clear over here in Texas. That was a solid shot to the head. She is going to feel that for this week and the week to come.

I wonder if those ghost chasers brought along their proton packs, cuz they are going to need some SERIOUS firepower to toast this ghost.

I hope Ms. Thorn's OK, and I hope she stays put too. Last thing she needs to be is associating with a meanie like this one.

I mean, she might wind up like Leia when she was enslaved by Jabba, ya know. Embarassed

My friend when he was a kid, fell out of a window, landed on his back and his head banged on the floor hard. He fell out from about 2,5 metres high.
Docs were amazed that there was either no eterior nor interior damage besides the bigarse swelling bump on back of his head. And a week-long migrene. No concussion no nothing.
But then again, he had his arms & legs broken more often than I had diarrhea in my life and he never learned and never had no serious effects because of that on his bone structure.
In my opinion the guy is immortal Very Happy.

To me, what it did was a definate "Stay out" or "Stay away" warning. It was trying to keep them away. This is the action of a guardian rather than a soul-eating abomination from Ry'leh.

IMHO, This puts a completely different slant on Vanity's actions. We know from her conversation with Bram Stoker earlier that she was looking for a trapped soul. Maybe the key to freeing that unfortunate (maybe also the treasure!) is at the bottom of that pit. They've got to figure a way past the Pit Guardian first, though. affraid

Yeah. Good luck chasing off Cthulu with glow sticks and PEZ guns. Nostalgic, yes. Effective against eldritch shadow behemoths- not so much. Razz

Not necessarily, although she will hurt for a bit once she regains consciousness. I once got clobbered in a similar manner, by a light rubber dodgeball bonking me on the forehead and driving the back of my skull into a stone wall. No bleeding, no obvious concussion, no unconsciousness. I walked away with nothing more than bruising and positive proof on why dodgeball is a dumb idea. It's not just how hard one hits/is hit, but also angle of hitting, where exactly one is hit, and how spread out the hit is.
