HELL. YES.

Diplomacy filled the niche in boardgaming that would be later filled by D&D and its' ilk. Roleplay is STRONGLY encouraged.

Basically anything outside of the rules is allowed. Lying and storytelling is encouraged, and the two skills are not all that dissimilar...
