Why is it taking like, 4 days for a new comic strip to be released?
I mean, i know you have to draw it, ink it, scan it.. etc etc.
But still, it takes a while.

Im not putting you down Jolly, the furries are uh-maay-zing, but i cant wait.

All im asking i for some quicker uploading.

Sorry <3

See, the thing is, that people have lives.

Somehow I don't see SA bringing in too much money, so JJ will have to do actual work that pays the bills and brings in food.

Welcome to the world of Sequential Art.

Freefall has been going for centuries, and only like a month has passed in story time.

Sabrina Online has been going over 10 years, and maybe a year has passed in it's story.

It'll always be slow, even if you have a daily strip. The more regularly the strip updates, usually the fewer panels you get. Some webcomics will give you a full page twice a week, while 3-panel gagstrips can manage 5 a week.

Depends on the artist, where their income is based, drawing speed, etc.

I can only spend a very short ammount of time each week producing a free webcomic. If there were more hours in the day; there would be more SA updates.

Jack is totally right, if you were in his shoes you´d understand. So instead of smackin´ your wieners against his window jizzing for updates I suggest you actually wait!

I do artwork but do more realistic stuffs. I CANNOT spend more than an hour a day on it as I have college work. My planned webcomic will only be updated each week.

The Doctor

The Doctor

I tried doing a web cartoon once. But two things stopped me, one: I can't draw (stick figures at best.), and two: I found it hard to come up with ideas (I tried to get a backlog of cartoons before actually releasing them to the interwebs.)

So after trying to do my own, I realised that it's very hard to do this kinda of thing (strip, toon, or anything else). So I'm just happy that JJ has the patience to do this.

And remember good things come to those who.....

Which is why I'm not aiming to do a once a week update webcomic, but something more along the lines of getting the story, getingt the angle and drawing the whole story and releasing it as a full issue rather than pages once every week. It helps you if you end up screwing the story up you can go back and correct things rather than get half way through a load of updates and not be able to correct them because they're already out in the open.

Okay...

Sorry to all for being like that.

Especially you, Jack.

You take your time with the comic.

Scanning?
Pff.
Since what year graphic planchets are scanable ?

Ans. = 2036

P.S. It is a marketing movement - opensource comic with temporary sketches. Then you're buying
scetch tome and,as result, beginning to think:"maybe,it will be cool to buy some more books?",
and you are beginning to have smth. alike shopogolism
