Hilary's nice side now reminds me of what a stillborn might look like if it somehow could survive to adulthood. So, her nice side was stillborn until the Quartet's invention brought it back to life.

That is actually a horrifying analogy. I personally was more reminded in the Voldermort horcrux thing dying in Harry Potters innerscape at the end of "Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows Pt. 2" Anyone remember that?
