First, it will likely offend some management type who (mistakenly) thinks he did a "favor" to his underlings.
Second, isn't there a tradition of hiding trinkets in holiday puddings?
Third, remember the stories of the ugly, useless gift that were used to give money!
...so check the darned thing out before you dispose of it, even if you don't eat it.
