Will the time machine be shaped like a 1960's police box?

What if he goes sooooo far back that he can stop Hillary from turning out to be a cruel person? I mean, there's a good chance she's the way she is because of her childhood or something.

You´ll have a grandfather paradox one way or the other. If Pip stops himself from going into this relationship he will have no reason for traveling back later.
