Trying to come up with a heroic name for the new suit the girls fabbed.

Love how the tail flexes and moves. That's some serious feats in metal engineering!

I can't wait to see it in action.

Don`t forget. The 4 girls worked on it. They are smart enough to make a new planet or some sort of thingy.

I was wondering that too.... wondering if the suits might all merge into something like when they were playing the Lorecraft game and were Legion!

The suit that scarlet is using right now, make me feel that it belongs to an old (well, not so old anime) Called "Bublegum Crisis Tokyo sothing". It was a pretty cool anime, i don't know if mr jollyjack taked taked the idea from that anime, but if it was from there, i think we should be expecting the Squirrel Bionic Commando (S.B.C)

Hi, long-time lurker here but I had to register to discuss the new Steel Squirrel armour.

As you may all recall, Amber, Violet and Jade are currently trapped in the Denzien Caverns because OzBASIC programed them to be agoraphobic - afraid of big, open spaces. The armour offers a possible way around this. If they program the sensory interpretation equipment that relays visual and auditory stimuli to the inside of the helmet to show things as if they were indoors, then the girls will be able to go outdoors.

Now, the Sailor Moon fanboy in me cannot help but visualise in my head the four of them in armour, facing off against the (incomprehending) bug and introducing themselves senshi-style with weird gestures and sayings. Naturally, in colour versions, the individual armour suits would have colour highlights that match each girl's name. They would also have their own specialised weapons (water/ice, electric, fire, air/ground displacement, etc.) plus bladed and other melee weapons with special properties.

SCARLET: Feah my gwavity hammah!

This could yet be a gift from providence because Jack is on his way back (possibly with OzBASIC's help) and there is also the Martian issue to be concerned with.

So fear not, citizens! The Steel Squirrels are here to protect you! You can sleep safely in your beds again!

(Of course, in the process of said protection, they are likely to flatten a good portion of the city but, eh, c'est le guerre!)

I was wondering if anyone else caught that resemblance. But I don't think JJ will call them the "Knights Sabre" (even if there are four of them -- a match to the anime).

LT.Raynor, "Bubblegum Crisis" was the name of the original anime (an OAV) and "Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040" was a version done as a TV series. There were other, interrelated animes such as "Bubblegum Crash" and "AD Police."

Sorry about the off-topic post and the major necro (couldn’t find post talking about the relevant arc after the twelfth page), but I don’t have thread creation or link posting privileges for another week. Anyway, I tried to write a Sequential Art fanfic.

To find it, google “Sequential Art Spacebattles”. It’s the Door Monster one.

Set in an overlapping AU created by the burning of a cheese sandwich. Dimensionally displaced character doubles abound.

The latest post is my attempt at the Quinten Jailbreak arc, and depending on how insufferably boring you find everything before it is (quite likely very much) just skipping to it might be a good idea.

Tried my hand at a short, crappy fan-comic. Still can’t thread though.
