Well... the creature's blood doesn't contain hemoglobin like mammalian blood, it's more like the blood of ascidians and tunicates (i.e. containing vanadium chromagen, that's what gives it that yellowish-green colour.). And it also looks nothing like any earthly form of life, so your dog is a little uncomfortable around it.

*administers firstaid*

I'll avoid any clotting agents and just try a few sterile gauses and bandages.

The creature stirs weakly and says "not a storageroom... a store... and an inn..."

You get there without any problem, and when you enter it, you see a human being, albeit one that looks more at home in 11th century Europe than the 21st century.

"Welcome!" he says with a rather cheery tone in his voice, "My name's Mallis Cero, how can I help you?"
