Somebody is pretty vocal about the new TMNT movie

So apparently Nickelodeon isn't happy enough with the actually well done new TMNT animated show and Bay's movie is still moving.

I just hope this movie bombs and Bay becomes a SFX coordinator.

Does everyone here hate him, or just this guy here? Cause I can't remember who it was exactly who said he should be a villain in the current SA arc.

EDIT: Nope, someone else. *sigh* I hope I'm not the only one in the forum who doesn't hate his guts.

i do not know enough to hate or like his guts currently i am indifferent tel me some movies he produced then i will see.

scratch that did some research his head should go on the chopping block before he ruins another classic franchise.

I don't hate Bay on a personal level. I don't know him, I mean clearly we do share a taste in old 80s franchises. So maybe he's a nice guy to hang out with.

My problem with Bay is simply he's not that good of a director at least a main movie director. He's a great SFX guy, but his characters are bland and stories are dull or sometimes insulting. Pearl Harbor the film basically being a slap in the face of all the veterans who survived the event.

And he's shown he doesn't know how to take an established franchise and adapt it. So now he's taking TMNT and already making huge changes that basically change the basic premise of the franchise. But people give him money to make films because he makes lots of money.

He's basically the Rob Liefeld of movies. Both get large budgets for their projects. They hire good teams to work with them. And then they make garbage.

Well, really I just find it funny when anyone wishes for something to fail, even if it's something they claim to love, just because they hate the guy running it.

(Then again, it's probably a case of "damned if they do, damned of they don't", since either A) the movie succeeds, encouraging them to make more like it, thus further defiling the franchise, or B) the movie fails, discouraging them from making any more at all, thus potentially killing the franchise.)
