Well, it has ben a week since New Years.
Still, given that she's in her house coat with a cup of coffee, it's possible that she is hung over and Art's antics are distracting her from her misery.

I love how "interested" Kat is in Art's new toy - i.e.: not at all. She's got her coffee and her terry-cloth robe; that's all she needs right now.
