(There is a bonus for understanding this reference). Like I said, we seem to be in a new arc: "Little Lost Denizen". It looks like Jack is attempting a new narrative style for him - a completely dialogue-free story with the story told completely by the art-work. Should be interesting to see how well this experiment goes!
