Frankly, he fell for her a long time ago, just as she fell for him. It's down to the old paradigm of "I don't want to ruin our friendship". That is a sweet moment. Kat looks very playful in the last two scenes. And Art seems to enjoy the "comfy" bed as well.

To be honest, I've always found obsessed fans kind of annoying and too obnoxious. Ponyfans that talk about stuff like genetics, physics, polytics and history in the show that clearly has none of that. Gamers threatening developers if those are trying to make some changes in their favorite franchises. Putin elections. Etc.
And now, I'm finding myself in anger, looking at that fictional guy and wanting to punch the hell out of him. "The heck are you doing?! You clearly like her! She clearly likes you! You've already kissed, you've seen her naked, she snuggles and teases you all the time! FFS, be a man and ask her out! Confess! Look her in the eyes and... Abghihdnahghggggrrrrrrrraaaaaaahh!
So, this is it? I became an obsessed fan? Reading too much into something and waiting for things that is never gonna to happen are making me one, right?

Could someone please post the old sketch of Art sitting on the couch reading and Kat sitting against him batting at a toy mouse he's holding over her head? I think that's still my favorite Art + Kat pic.

I think I speak for all of us when I say that Art's reaction pretty much suits this panel perfectly. Also, I am crossing my fingers that the sudden influx of gratuitous Art/Kat shipping that JJ has been doing recently means that SOMETHING is finally going to happen after waiting for FIVE YEARS (I got into this series late).

Look, you are not alone, i have never been a fan like that either...until now... They must be together!! ...but I still can't decide whether that would make or break the comic though....
