Anybody else think this seems familiar? I remember this movie. I think it was called "Morons From Outer Space." These British-sounding, human-looking aliens arrive on Earth, are deemed to be complete morons by the military and thus not particularly useful, and subsequently go off to create their own highly successful pop band until they are rescued. One of the aliens gets separated from the group and, as a result, believes that rubbish bins are the predominant species on the planet.
