Jack mentioned a few times that he doesn't enjoy much motion controlled things, but after this strip, it’s more like "Infernal hate".

Btw, Pip got such a beautiful eyes.

He's explained his reasons enough times: Motion controlling is being used like a fad to generate money. They're not made to benefit hardware, only to benefit coffers.

Having said that a few earlier games like Metroid Prime 3 and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess didn't treat the Wii remote like a gimmick.

That's only the 2nd time Pip has opened his mouth "on screen" in the entire comic Razz.

lol poor Pip! Except I remember going into an arcade with my brother and we played one of the older tag-team arcade shooters, and these younger kids were like "why are there cords coming from the back of the guns? aren't they wireless?" No sad, sad day.

I hope you used the cord to choke these little phillistines.
However, I think this is the first time we see Pip without glasses. Interesting!

Holy crap. Until today I never had a clue what those two boys meant with that line. How did Robert Zemeckis know, in the late 80s, that motion sensor gameplay would grow to such a retarded extend?

I guess the obvious answer is that he didn't and was deliberately being vague so that viewers would fill in the blanks ourselves with weird crap like mind control. Still, that's pretty creepy.

Second, IIRC...or is that the second time his mouth has been open wide. Not sure.

2nd time on mouth. We've seen him w.o. glasses. Think back to the beginning of Realm of Lorecraft; stuff stolen including glasses. Though you could argue that it happened inside if a game and not actually to him, but, eh, close enough.

This strip has so many goodies in it :

- back to the future reference, they're always awesome.
- Pip waking up in the classic hollywoodian way.
- Pip without glasses.
- Pip opening his mouth.
- Pip in his jammies.
- Pip expressing his need for physical contact with inanimate object.

Y'know this kind of thing can work the opposite way as well. I just had a nightmare about a future ruled by identical death match gung ho marine first person shooters, while all my favorite old game genres get kicked to the curb onto a pile of bugs.

Then again maybe that was just because I tried Fallout: New Vegas just before bed.

You know this moment in in bttf now has a scary thought. and hell it's 2011, in five years we're suppose to have flying cars by bbtf standards. Of course we're also paying more for gas than the writers thought we would. If I remember the gas was 2.34 a gal in the movie. I think. man it's been.... years since I watched bttf2. I'm more of a fan ofr 1 and 3. kinda like lucas films. I always like the first and third in I.J. and S.W. (the IV, V, VI ones I, II, III can stick it.)
