I think Kat's flashback has turned into a crazy version of the Street Fighter

Vanity reminds me of Klaus from American Dad now.

Someone has been watching too many American Dad and playing way too many Street Fighter games. Now, it's time for MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!

I think that Kat just knocked out one of Hillary's teeth. I think that Kat has taken some self-defense and martial arts classes, not surprising since she is a big Alley Fighter fan.

In honesty I think this is actually a lucid hallucination rather than a "flashback" like it's been playing itself as up till now. So anything goes, as evidenced by Vanity fish.

Kat has always listed Alley Fighter as her favorite computer game, so it shouldn't be surprising that her hallucination will includ her getting revenge in this style.

Smelge, we look to you to do the 'finishing move'.

Vanity is a spooky fish? Okay, any lingering doubt that this is not any kind of linear memory is hereby banished.

Oooookay, its not a flashback (anymore) but a weird halluzination. For some reason I like the second Smelge abnomination better than the original.

I fancy thinking at one point in time Kat went Tony Jaa on Hillary.

Yeah, it was a flashback up until Kat pounced Hillary.

Kat remembers last time. That's what I can infer from Kat's speech.

Taking it as a straight flashback, this means Kat's drunk enough to hallucinate. As a dream sequence (which is different from a hallucination as you typically need to be technically awake when you hallucinate), it's finally dipped out of straight memory to weirdness. All things considered, I'd agree that it's probably the latter explanation. I hope we'll later get a recount of what really happened then, to compare with the wackiness now about to ensue.

Aaaaaand, this is where we get into the freaky hallucination we were all waiting on.

Send in the pink elephants! Yep, I now know that Kat is hallucinating. This is why she needs to quit drinking! Drinking makes you see things!

Drinking never did that for me.
By the way, the Ghost Fish thing comes from the Angel and Spike comic books that have been running since the TV show ended. It can't touch things, but it can touch minds.

I blame a combination of alcohol and that freaky monster thing Kat and Vanity saw (It's here! It is here!) for this.

Not to mention what is in that water! She is bound to have swallowed some. There could be toxic waste runoff, oil spill remains, blood, raw sewage...you get the idea. Now, I'm off to eat a ham sandwich with ketchup.
