It's your choice, there is no need to open up a thread just for that reason.

For a notice I'd say don't use animated gifs with too many frames of animation - they tend to slow down forums.

Well, I quickly put your old avatar in my AdBlock filter list, while I haven't done this with your new one - I guess that should tell you something about how much I value them, respectively...
