I've noticed since the thinktank girls popped up, Scarlet's left behind the naked, fridge raiding, naive hoodlum we first saw all those strips ago and seems to be quite normal now. So what's happened? Has she simply matured over time? Any chances she'll revert back to her wackiness?

I believe you are correct about scarlet. Though I wouldn't exactly say she is fully normal yet, though compared to the others she is. Kind of like..... a big sister.

Maybe she feels responsibillity for her sisters and tries to show that by a more self controled behaviour. Resposibillity matures a character.

Experience often matures anyone, Scarlet is no exception. She has three sisters to teach about the world.

Scarlet's been outside the lab for a few years now.
She has, over that time, started to learn how the world works and how you're supposed to act within it.
She (and the other squirrels) still get a bit odd when away from the group, though, but that seems to be wearing off in Scarlet's case.

I think that Scarlet is something of the 'big sister'. Remember that, as Jack says, she's been out of the lab for a while. She feels the responsibility to look after her three sisters and show them how to survive. That means less wild and spontaneous behaviour (mostly because she's trying to limit the same in the other three).

Ehm.How it was possible for her to know ANYTHING about outside world in the first day - for example, about Teddy and spearfishing?

Hard to say, since we don't know how long she was with Quenten (although we can probably assume it was since her early childhood) or what sort of information they fed her/she ran across while at Quenten.

A lot depends on whether the Quinten system had open ports to the outside world. The fact that OzBasic needed Kat's help to pirate Jack's laser sat suggests not.

That said, Scarlet is super-smart, especially when linked up with her sisters. I imagine that she worked out a lot just by watching TV and taking in the various sources of information around the house (Pip's comic collection would explain the 'Steel Squirrel' Laughing ). We also know that Art must have a pretty fast broadband link for Pip to be able to play LoL on-line. So, Scarlet probably picked up a lot from the Internet.

Man... What a horrible thought! A super-genius whose founding impressions of the world are based on the Internet. affraid

Well...Imagine it: Scarlet-minded AI on supercomputer. Jack's feel of thank.(Or,if I want to dream,my
obsessions' remembrance).

P.S. In "Ghost in the shell",there were no "think tanks" but they may be from Portal (this nice pill-look bed) or Fallout 3(Tranquility Lane Shezlong).

P.P.S. She is <=13 in SA (but not on DA!). You think I'm blind?!?!

P.P.P.S. I am waiting for author's position of age...

P.P.P.P.S : I am making much of posts because I have much to say every time I am in Internet. I am a graphomaniac.
