F is for Fern

We are coming up on the "F"'s and I'm hoping to see some sketches of Fern, Pip's online gaming partner. I hope she makes a return in the SA strip. (Hint-hint)

I haven't done many Fern pin-ups.

But thank you for responding back! I remember the one of her and the one missed volleyball (which I thought was humorous), the with her covered in slime (which I thought was very sexy) and I seem to recall a color portrait of her. Maybe if I can get my 'puter working I'll add them to this post.

Oh by the way JJ, your Tome sketchbook is on my Christmas list- I can't wait for it!!!

Fran is a sky pirate from Final Fantasy XII. Unlike Fern (who has goat / antelope traits for her online character), Fran has rabbit traits. Those are ears, not horns that can puncture a ball.

Fern is a homage to Fran; possibly the sexiest RPG character in history

I knew there was something about Fern that looked familiar to me. I must say that you Jolly Jack have quiet a few accomplishment that are true epic and full of win. The two that are the most epic would have to be Fern and of course Scarlet. Good show man, good show!

On a side note I do agree with Vion, I very much miss Fern and hope that she makes an appearance again. I can't help but to wonder what would happen if Pip found out that Art was wrong about her and she is a total babe. Maybe spleen ripping from ear?

Oh the pain of seeing her with another player that she decided to meet and be with both on and offline. Art would be a dead man or Pip with beat himself into a coma for believing such accusations without an evidence to support it and in thus loosing his chance with such a being.

Yes I agree wind that would probably be the case lol. If Pip was anything like me Art would be burn at the stake for his blasphemy!!!

Nice to see some Fern in the latest release of sketches. I hope that we will see her in the strip again.

It occurs to me that she and Vanity would make for interseting "Token Sane People" to help us readers understand that bit more clearly the craziness surrounding Art, Kat, Pip and Scarlet. Sometimes, I think those four are some kind of singularity around which all reality is distorted.

I'm not sure he's blocked her (is that even possible in WoW? LoL is based on that, after all); He's just avoiding her... Or him, in his own mind.

What is needed is some stereotypical situation where the two of them bump into each other in a comic con and fall into conversation. Along the way they realise that the other is (gasp) actually that cool guy/gal that they met on-line! Naturally, as this is SA, there will be some comic moments:

FERN: So, you didn't want to team with someone with bad facial hair and a body odour problem?

PIP: Er... Can I blame my bad upbringing?
