As cliche as the old "villain disappears to fight another day" is, I'm hoping we can see a twist on that tired old plot device here. Something like, when she re-appears in her hiding place, she finds her once-loyal dragon (a.k.a. Kat's transformed arch-enemy) ready to munch on her.
