that's... actually disturbingly close to what I was thinking. they may be actually asking, or possibly they've asked a similar thing before and had the person leave them alone, resulting in an attempt to replicate the action.Zero the Dragon King wrote:The scary part is that that statement might not have been intended as a threat. This might be limited to stuff Art bought himself.Flutters Is Shy wrote:Art has a perfect defense against them that they can't defend though...

"Girls, you are making me mad. Do I need to touch your toys?"
Everyone just seems to selectively forget that Art has techno-null abilities. Honestly, he should make the girls a lot more worried about being in close proximity to their stuff than they seem to let on.
In case anyone is interested, this isn't completely science fiction. It's just a more extreme, higher-powered version of using a typical microwave oven to cook food. Basically, microwaves are zapped at the food, transferring energy to the water in the food. With more energy, the water molecules move faster, thus heating up the food. At higher levels, microwave transmission towers are used to beam power crosscountry and can be health hazards should workers be near them for too long of a time while the towers are transmitting. The science fictiony part here is that the girls appear able to amplify this further into a portable death ray, although achieving this seems to be a real life goal of the US military.Scarlet wrote:In the same way that using a microwave emitter to flash-boil every drop of liquid in a person's body while they sleep is wrong?
However, the Eldak Invasion arc indicates that shutting down OzBasic with his face was the end of Art's Anti-Tech Force ability. He'll need to use some other means of convincing them.Flutters Is Shy wrote:Everyone just seems to selectively forget that Art has techno-null abilities.
