In the US, Radio Shack tanked a few years ago, so we know how you feel, Art. When he was alive, Dad used to go into the local stores a lot for his electronic projects. Even a stint as a cellular seller didn't help. Sure, things might be sometimes cheaper online, but the brick and mortar stores don't require shipping and handling to be tacked on, plus you can take most purchases straight home instead of having to wait a few days for the postal or delivery service.

Ah, well. C'est la vie.

Wait till we are 3d printing everything

Well, that vulture isn't ominous at all. But where are all the remaining members of the staff?

Honestly, I can understand. If you've ever worked at one store that's been shutting down, It's kinda crazy. First off we had the mad rush before we were actually starting to close down. Then we had prices starting to diminish with our closing sales starting, and gradually picking up as we got closer to the end. And gradually you watched the whole store vanishing like it was becoming abandoned. They must be coming in late, because it doesn't happen slowly. it becomes so empty as liquidation takes and pretty much manages how it sells things out steadily. Anything you probably wanted is gone before it gets as cheap as you'll hope it gets. Although we didn't quite have Vultures that were quite that real.

Damn Millennials.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to say "damned idiots who only buy stuff online" , rather than "damn millennials"? It isn't just millennials who purchase stuff online.

My advice, guys? Take everything that you can and bring it back to the Quinten Quads and the Denizens. Then stand back; well back. I think that they would either invent something that would change the world forever (and make you multi-billionaires) or just blow up the planet. Or, more likely, both.

Either way, you'll love the ride!

@BenRG Christ on a bloody crutch. Would you please stop giving the girls ideas? Scarlet was bad enough on her own, especially that time she, ahem, "fixed" Arthur's replica ray gun. The girls are crazy science on a good day, there's NO need to effing escalate their craziness.

At least Art will have something to drive Kat to distraction with. :p

Well, as long as he tries (emphasis on tries) to keep that laser pointer away from the girls, and possibly the Denizens, there shouldn't be any problems. Besides Kat going bonkers trying to catch the dot, and possibly getting her revenge on his memory cards, again.

Don't fool yourself, my friends. The girls will get hold of that laser pointer. Finding it 'inefficient' and 'low-powered', they will 'upgrade' it and Art will end up accidentally holing the wall of his office (as well as frying several innocent pigeons who are flying by at the time).

Either that or all the stuff he's going to buy from this doomed store will end up as the basis of his super suit. He never asked for a super suit but you know the Quads!
