Damn it, Pip! I told you to keep hidden until you had a better idea of what was going on! It's pretty clear that Vault-111 are not flavour of the month with this particular faction. Pip should feel lucky that the Wanderer was pleased just to pistol-whip him.

I wonder what the problem was? I suppose that, if this is a pro-Institute universe, then inhabitants of Vault-111 may be considered just this side of pure evil!

WELP, looks like this is likely an Institute experimental synth then, clearly JJ is going with Ins-tits-Bútte. Kips certainly going to be skipping a bit if this parody's Fallout 4 quite a lot, as JJ is often want to do.

Might be less luck and more simple economics. In the wastelands, bullets are bound to be expensive. She's obviously too experienced a shooter to waste valuable matériel on someone who was clearly no threat.
