Seems Pip knows well of the standard soldier behaviour, which lacks of intelligence but has too much of blind followism Smile .

They seem too small to be able to blow up a theater. Experimental/cutting edge explosive mixture perhaps? With a director who makes billions probably has connections with Area 51!!!

You'd think he got some of his movie ideas from Area 51, too XD He had to be tripping when he wrote some of the movies he's done XD

Pip: ....I should probaby have asked questions.

Me: GEEZ YOU THINK SHERLOCK!?? Lets pray they're not time bombs. Did Cam (Yes! he blackmailed us to join his diluted resistance so now I calling him Cam is there a problem!) gave you a time limit?

I was enjoying Dark Angel, until they started to stretch it out and it got more and more silly.

At least, I seem to remember enjoying it.....maybe I was just enjoying Jessica Alba.....

A simple bomb doesn't sound science-fictiony enough for Cameron. Not enough techno gizmo flashy things in a mere bomb. His explosives need more flashing lights and data screens. (Even "Titanic" had a scene where a malfunctioning lamp caused a strobe-light effect, when Jack was caught by handcuffs as water filled the room.)

it might be a data scrambler which would mess with the 2d projectors

Just how badly do you want to touch Sigorney, Pip? Bad enough to be a mass-murdering globally-hunted terrorist? When the price is potentially life in Gitmo, the whole equation changes a bit, doesn't it? FWIW, I doubt that they are bombs - EMP devices at the worst but definitely not bombs.

That said, there is something that Pip really does need to understand here and now:

1) James Cameron is not John Connor;
2) Even if he was, John Connor was frequently an asshole with his own selfish agenda;
3) Is there any proof that these aliens are malign beyond their deplorable taste in entertainment? If the answer is 'no' then obeying without question is a bad idea;
4) Those who obey without question usually end up in court with their boss claiming never to have heard of them.

Now that I remember why should we listen to the guy who let the Terminator franchise get screwed. I mean since the second film every time that we hear a new Terminator project we all get happy and it doesn't end very well. He should take orders from us not the other way around.

I suppose you're one of those people who think George Lucas ran Star Wars into the ground as well? One of those people who thinks they know the franchise better than its creator, who thinks they can do BETTER than the one with numerous awards under their belt and billions of dollars in their account due to multiple successes?

How about you fucktards quit passing judgement on people until you can actually DO better than them.

Or, how about we continue making funny, snarky comments on a thread about a funny comic strip that makes some light-hearted fun with a Hollywood movie director. tongue (I don't see anyone here saying how we could make a better movie.)

In lucas' case he did through letting toy sales dictate the franchise. For example the Ewoks replaced the Wookies in Return and Harrison Ford wanted Solo killed off but Lucas kept him alive to maximise the sale of Han Solo figures.

To his credit however, Lucas has done the best thing possible and passed Star Wars onto Abrams.

In other notes, does anyone actually think Cameron is simply fabricating the aliens and using it as an excuse to kill 2D? We're talking about a man who wants all movies to be 3D.

Ohh I hit a nerve didn't I? Cool I don't think that I know a franchise better than the creator (well except what happened with the Dark Knight Rises - I don't care what Nolan thinks Batman don't resign period) But Not you, not any as you called "one with numerous awards under their belt and billions of dollars in their account due to multiple successes" will tell me what to like or not when now and ever "The audience will always have the last word". Imagine if we lived in a world were we have to like every fiasco the put in front of us. This Fucktard (as you called me) says: No one will tell me what to like or not and if you don't like it Too bad!

By Jove, I think the gentlechap has something there. After all, Cameron really dtook offense when they dared to diss "Avatar" in his presence. Now, here we are suggesting that Cameron's movies and directing style just *might* kowtow to stereotype and cliche... Rolling Eyes
