Sooo ... on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being extremely shocked, how shocked will Kat's face be on the next strip?

It's kind of difficult to explain an impending apocalypse to your friends when they think you're using metaphorical language. Like the man says, put the glasses on.

This definitely has the feel for a new meta-arc here. All the effort the Denizens and the Quads have put into technology is about to be tested in a war that no-one else will believe.

By the way - I've always thought that modern TV (especially Reality TV) was part of a conspiracy against good taste and every positive value. All Jack has done is take that perception and simply dial it up to 11. Now, a challenge: has anyone checked to see if the presenters on the TV really are zombies by looking at them through 3D specs?

One of my favourite things about this comic is how JJ launches into major arcs via seemingly insignificant events and/or actions. Go to movies, get 3D glasses, discover secret undead dominion legion. FANTASTIC!

And then the creatures turn out to be completely peaceful, and are simply disguising themselves because they're refugees hiding from another race - a violent, militaristic, and genocidal one, who's attention the gang will unintentionally attract when they expose them, causing a mass panic in the process.

Well, now Kat knows the terrible truth... and we are all reminded that some humans manage to out-creep the creepzoids. I wonder if they're still in the shock/denial phase or whether they're actually wondering if this is really their problem and therefore something they should follow up.

It might be interesting to see who invented the 3D glasses. It seems an awful coincidence that a commercially-available bit of eye-wear beats the creepzoids' camouflage. Could someone at Sony (who are the creators of the modern 3D system, IIRC) have found out about the creepzoids and are trying to get the word out without drawing attention to themselves? If so, they're in for a rude shock because Kat, Art and Pip are likely to just go running around screaming, trying to blow up stuff and generally being unsubtle. Then there's the Quads and the Denizens who are more likely to start WW3 with special effects that would make Michael Bay weep with the bitterest jealousy.
