Daym, I didn't know keratin armor could bounce optical blasts like that. I could use one of those shells and make a freakin' huge glitter ball and hang it in a club.

It just about has to with this bug. Even in the oxygen-rich Carboniferous Period when dragonflies were the size of hawks, insects couldn't grow to such a humongous size simply because a bug's breathing apparatus isn't as efficient as lungs at extracting oxygen from the air. Were SA's bugly merely a scaled-up insect, it would have suffocated long before it reached full size (not to mention its exoskeleton would have cracked under the weight and its legs been unable to hold its body up).

Bugly has been mutated beyond the limits of the average bug. It's distinctly possible that it <i>can't</i> shrink down when the muto-juice wears off. Maybe swatting it would be doing it a favor by putting it out of its misery.

I beleive that's what is gonna happpen. (but since JJ read this stuff. he might change it on purpose and make look like something else killed it, or maybe a side effect from the formula.
