I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that the four girls will fill the roles of the Team Fortress 2 team member stereotypes. Amber is clearly the Heavy Weapons trooper. What roles will the others play, I wonder?

I expect a very powerful uppercut at some point soon, having seen the size of the one on the left's arms. I wish I could tell who was who. Scarlet is obviously squirrel suit on the right and Amber is bunny-mech/robo-cob robot, but which are which of the others? Also, giggled at the 80's-esque shoulder pads on on squirrel #2

There were a fair few "Bubblegum Crisis" comparisons when Scarlet first put on the suit, but I've never seen that series!

You missed something really good out!
Its one of the best Sci-Fi Action animé of the 1980s/1990s, character and mech designs by the awesome Kenichi Sonoda and there was even a very good comic by Adam Warren.
Here is the intro to the direct sucessor Bubblegum Crash, because the original Bubblegum Crisis show hadn´t real intros, but the look is pretty much the same:

They made a remake of the show in the late 1990s, it was good too but, unfortunatly they updated the character designs.

The inro of the 1990s show in comparison, you can see why people draw paralels between the hard suits of from Bubblegum Crisis tio the hardsuits of the Quinten-4.

Here's a thought - The suit Amber is wearing is too big and oddly-shaped to be a hard-suit like those used by the others. I'm thinking it is more Mecha than armoured suit; the 'head' is probably a Zoids-style cockpit area. I wonder if she has a personal armoured suit on in there or if she is just driving the chicken-walker in her civvies.
