What can you tell me about griefers?
Are they PCs who try to ruin the game for others?
How do you keep them out?

The second. Other players who ruin your buildings by:
A: Destroying it. (Free multiplayer)
B: Drop lava in it. (as you see here)
C: Just build random stuff of Obsidian. Wich takes very long to mine. And only by diamond picaxes.

To keep them out? Only let select people build in your server. Either by making them Builder or higher (or whatever you call the rank) or by giving your server a password.

The lesson ladies and gentlemen? Other people are jackasses. Be loners, play off-line single player and be happy.

Can you still locate other peoples spawn points, and (for example) wall them in in obsidian? I've not logged on in many many versions now...

I do so fondly remember digging 1x1x128 pits (assuming I was unlucky enough that the spawn point in question went all the way to bedrock without hitting lava) and then removing (some of) the ladders...

I mean, ok, a 2x2x3 pit with granite walls and a lava floor is fine, but if you're gonna ruin someone's day you should at least put a little effort and artistry into it.

Even in his own new domain, Pip can't compete.

Is this turning into another story arc?

Lining it with torches is so much easier than digging for a lava flow. Smile

That's real lava?
How did you create the lava tree?

Just like in the comics, you can collect lava in buckets.

You probably don't live in the lava house, but it must be fun to push zombies into the lava. Smile

I once made a house covered in lava. It was suppose to be fireproof because of it. Worked well for a time.

Somehow it was caught on fire and destroyed. I hate griefing.

It may slowly eat through stone.
It is a simulation.
You could build a model of the White House, have you and your friends play Secret Service guards, and make notes of what vunerabilities the griefers find. Actually, just leave that to the professionals. Smile
