Why Won't It Climb The Stairs?

The next running story is pretty much immediately obvious. They are going to modify the Slinky so it can climb back up the stairs. Unfortunately, it is going to work a bit too well. Either it is going to try to take over the world or Jack will get his paws on it and try to use it to destroy the world.

Either way, no good can come of any of this.

is it wrong of me to realize with this strip that Violet has got a bigger toosh than Amber?
