Is it possible that Phillip Jackson is a distant relative of Steve Purcell? Is it possible that the mastermind behind the zany, cult-followed adventures of a crime-fighting dog and rabbit shares the same artistic genetic code with our favorite web comic writing Londonite? Is it possible that Mr. Jackson is part of an experiment in transplanting talent from one person into another?!

Or is it just a coincidence?

Maybe it's a plot to forever change the spelling of the word "juice" to "joos"?

I assume he's a fan of Sam and Max, and when he thought of what to put on a label, he was possibly thinking of that very comic as he was drawing. Or he just wanted to give it a different name, like he does with everything ("Land of Lorecraft"). It's possibly just coincidence that the label he thought up had been used before.
